文化之旅

A glimpse into Railway Culture: A global Perspective

本课程选择学生感兴趣的与铁路相关话题，例如中外铁路发展历史、火车头类型、车站文化、影视铁路、铁路精神等，开展铁路文化通识教育，增加学生的社会、文化、科学等基本常识。

The course selects railway-related topics of interest to students, such as the history of railroad development, types of locomotives, station culture, film and television railroads, railroad spirit, etc., to provide general education on railroad culture and increase students' basic knowledge of society, culture and science.

管理学原理

Principles of Management

本课程围绕铁路管理的计划、组织、领导、控制等职能展开，旨在使学生了解和掌握管理学的基本原理以及在交通运输领域中的运用。

The course focus on the planning, organizing, leading and controlling functions of railroad management and aims to enable students to understand and master the basic principles of management and their application in the field of transportation.

铁路工程测量

Railroad Engineering Survey

本课程是交通运输类专业的核心基础课程之一，旨在使学生不仅熟悉各种工程测量仪器的构造、原理、检验及校正的基本方法，还掌握各种测量的实施、记录与计算方法，并具有一定的计算能力、绘图能力、整合思维能力及合作交流的能力。

The course is one of the core foundation courses for transportation majors, aiming to make students not only familiar with the structure, principle, inspection and calibration of various engineering measuring instruments, but also master the implementation, recording and calculation methods of various measurements, and have certain calculation ability, drawing ability, integrated thinking ability and the ability to cooperate and communicate.

运输经济学

Transportation Economics

本课程基于微观经济学基本原理的分析和描述，以大量具体的运输经济问题为主要关注对象，使学生理解运输经济问题的特点及其与一般经济理论的联系，并在此基础上去探寻和解释运输经济活动所涉及的行为方式和相互关系。

The course is based on the analysis and description of the basic principles of microeconomics, with a large number of specific transport economic problems as the main object of research, so that students understand the characteristics of transport economic problems and their connection with general economic theory, and on this basis to explore and explain the behavioral patterns and interrelationships involved in transport economic activities.

中国概况

Overview of China

本课程旨在提高学生对中国社会发展状况和历史文化的总体认识。通过对不同主题的讲授，使学生领略中国历史文化精神，观览中国社会发展概况，理解中国社会及文化特点，能够主动思考中国的过去、现在和未来。

The course aims to improve students' general understanding of China's social development status and history and culture. Through lectures on different topics, students will be able to appreciate the spirit of Chinese history and culture, view the overview of Chinese social development, understand the characteristics of Chinese society and culture, and be able to actively think about the past, present and future of China.

汉语综合

Chinese Comprehensive

本课程将教授基本汉语和汉字知识，使学生具备初步的汉语交际能力，能用汉语解决日常生活和学习中最基本的问题；掌握最基本的汉语语音知识和发音技能、初级阶段常词汇、汉语的基本句型；具备简单的学习策略、交际策略，初步了解与汉语交际相关的中国文化知识，具有初步的跨文化意识。

The course teaches basic Chinese language and Chinese character knowledge, enable students to have preliminary Chinese communication skills and be able to use Chinese to solve the most basic problems in daily life and study. Master the most basic Chinese phonetic knowledge and pronunciation skills, common vocabulary at the primary level, basic sentence patterns in Chinese. Have simple learning strategies, communication strategies, preliminary understanding of Chinese cultural knowledge related to Chinese communication, and have a preliminary cross-cultural awareness. The students will  have a basic understanding of Chinese culture and cross-cultural awareness.

中国传统文化

Chinese Traditional Culture

本课程以社会、文化为纲，从中国地理、历史、思想、文化、习俗、科技、艺术等多方面系统概括和分析中国的社会与文化方面的种种特点。通过本课程的学习，使学生具备一定的中国文化知识，提高学生对文化差异的敏感性、宽容性和处理文化差异的灵活性，促进汉语语言的学习和应用。

The course takes society and culture as the outline, systematically summarizes and analyzes the various characteristics of China's society and culture from the aspects of Chinese geography, history, thought, culture, customs, science and technology, and art. Through the study of this course, students will have certain knowledge of Chinese Culture, improve their sensitivity, tolerance and flexibility to deal with cultural differences,  and promote Chinese Language learning and application.
